ROMANIA OIL AND GAS
CONFERENCE
Bucharest, Romania,
December 4-5
Romania Oil and Gas
Conference will be held between December 4 and 5, in
Bucharest, Romania. The event will address current
developments, future projects and opportunities for
international oil and gas companies within the
domestic energy market. The event will bring
together senior-level executives from major local
and international oil and gas companies, along with
government and association officials.
Situated along the Black Sea continental shelf,
Romania is one of the biggest oil producers in
Central and Eastern Europe, the Romanian natural gas
sector is one of the most developed in Europe. The
country’s conventional and unconventional oil and
gas potential makes it the only state in Central and
South-Eastern Europe that can meet its own oil and
gas demand, and export this resource. Romania also
has the largest harbor in the Black Sea, which has
become more important economically and
geo-strategically due to it being part of the new
Euro-Asian hydrocarbon transport axes. This, along
with its geographical position, along with an
existing pipeline system places Romania in a strong
position to become a transport hub for hydrocarbon
supplies moving into Europe.
